🎃 10/31/25 - Big improvements just dropped at TxtCart!

Updates:

• Major Update #1 - Automatic Shopify Subscriber Import

  • No more manual uploads needed (unless you have a list from another platform). TxtCart now automatically syncs and imports all your Shopify subscriber / customer records who’ve already opted into SMS. That means as soon as you install TxtCart on a store, you’ll see your subscriber list ready to go and can start leveraging campaigns instantly.

    • Note: We use Shopify’s built in SMS Marketing fields to ensure everything stays fully compliant out of the box.

• Major Update #2 - Real-Time Shopify Subscriber Sync

  • Your audience just got a major upgrade. TxtCart now syncs all SMS subscribers from Shopify in real time, no matter where they came from. Whether subscribers were added through an abandoned checkout, a popup app, or manually in Shopify, they’ll now appear instantly inside TxtCart. That means a larger, more complete subscriber base to power your campaigns and drive more revenue.

    • Officially activating on Monday, November 3rd.

• Major Update #3 - Manage Discount Codes Right Inside TxtCart

  • You can now create and manage Shopify Discounts directly from your TxtCart Settings.
    Easily set up order, product, or shipping discounts and customize them any way Shopify allows:

    • Limit to specific products, collections, or segments

    • Add minimum purchase rules

    • Stack or switch discounts with one click during abandoned cart recovery

    And the best part? You can create unlimited discounts, ready to activate whenever you need them.

• Enhanced Billing Experience

  • We’ve launched new in-app billing modals that make switching plans simpler than ever. If you find a plan that fits better, you can now upgrade or downgrade seamlessly.

• New Campaign Segment Added for Potential Customers

  • We’ve introduced a brand-new segment called Potential Customers, perfect for campaigns targeting subscribers who haven’t purchased yet. This makes it easier to send personalized offers to your soon-to-be customers and nudge them toward checkout.

• Smarter Campaign Cancellations

  • If a user cancels billing without uninstalling the app, TxtCart will now automatically cancel all scheduled campaigns. This ensures there are no surprise sends or additional charges after cancelling making it totally hands-off and worry-free.

• Security Improvements

  • TxtCart has rolled out additional security checks to help prevent fraudulent or spam-like messages from being sent. These new measures protect your brand reputation and help maintain strong SMS trust and delivery rates across carriers.

• Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where some discount messages used the wrong wording based on discount type. Your promos will now display exactly as intended.

  • Fixed an issue where the Test Phone Number field wasn’t visible when sending test messages, so you can now clearly see where your test messages are going.

  • Fixed a bug where certain segment names showed as “undefined” during the campaign review stage, everything now displays correctly.
